While having some beautiful musical moments, Joker: Folie à Deux is a dark sequel that feels mostly stuck in second gear. Joker: Folie à Deux is perhaps one of those films whose soundtrack could rival the film itself. It’s amazing to hear Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga sing their little hearts out, and director Todd Phillips makes sure the show never feels overly staged.
